The hotel offers breathtakingly beautiful surroundings with lovely gardens, but is let down by poor quality fittings and lack of maintenance. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the dining experience is a mix of complimentary cava and overpriced dinners. The rooms, though somewhat tiered and needing refurbishment, provide a fantastic view from the top floor.

My stay at Hotel Formentor was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were medium-sized, clean, and had ample wardrobe space, although not at a 5-star level. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had marble sinks, a bath with an overhead shower, and luxurious White Company toiletries.

Despite needing a major refurbish and being quite expensive for the standard, the hotel offers a super nice view. The service was excellent, especially during an illness incident, and the staff around the pool were attentive and helpful. The location is superb for a peaceful getaway amidst plush gardens and a sandy beach. The dining experience, although beautiful and sumptuous, was deemed overpriced compared to local options. Overall, the facilities are enjoyable with some room for improvement.
